About Advanced Radiation Centers of New York

Our History

Advanced Radiation Centers of New York (ARC) has a strong legacy in the New York Metropolitan area. Founded over three decades ago by Dr. Ezriel Diamond, ARC began as the first freestanding Radiation Oncology facility in eastern Nassau County, Long Island. The practice quickly grew, and Dr. Diamond was soon joined by Dr. Shawn H. Zimberg, a fellow Radiation Oncologist, to expand their vision into a leading Radiation Oncology practice.

Today, ARC has grown to include offices in Lake Success, Plainview, Hauppauge, Hartsdale, West Nyack, and the Bronx. We are proud to be one of the largest freestanding Radiation Oncology practices in the United States, and a leader in Radiation Oncology technology in the Metropolitan New York region.

ARC physicians have served on the boards of national organizations like the American Cancer Society and remain committed to ongoing education by participating in weekly cancer conferences. Our staff also supports cancer awareness and fundraising events for groups such as:
