Dr. Mehran Saboori is a board-certified radiation oncologist with extensive experience in the field of radiation oncology. He practices at Advanced Radiation Centers of New York (ARC), providing expert care to patients at the Plainview office.

Dr. Saboori earned his Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the University of New Mexico. He went on to receive his Medical Doctorate from New York Medical College. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Westchester Medical Center and his residency in Radiation Oncology at New York University Medical Center.

With years of experience, Dr. Saboori has held several leadership roles, including Clinical Director at UH Seidman Cancer Center in Ohio. He has also served as an attending physician at various medical centers, bringing his expertise to a wide range of patients.

Dr. Saboori specializes in the treatment of various malignancies using advanced radiation techniques, including 3D Conformal Treatment, Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT). He is also Gamma Knife certified and experienced in both high-dose and low-dose brachytherapy.

Fluent in both English and Persian, Dr. Saboori is able to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population, ensuring that each individual receives the highest level of personalized care.
