We are proud to have been the first facility in the Metropolitan New York area and the eastern United States to offer RAPID ARC technology from Varian. RapidArc is the fastest and most accurate form of radiation therapy that currently exists.

 

ARC was:

FIRST in the United States to use the BioProtect Balloon System for Prostate Cancer treatments
FIRST on the US EAST COAST (and 4th in the world!) to clinically deploy RapidArc technology by Varian Medical Systems, a now standard technology that provides Dynamic IMRT and IGRT Rotational Therapy.
FIRST on Long Island and in Rockland County to provide Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT).
FIRST on Long Island and in Rockland County to adopt Cone-Beam CT technology using an On-Board Imager to delineate soft tissue anatomy to raise the level of accuracy in Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT).
FIRST in Eastern Long Island (Nassau County) to use the Contura-MLB Breast Brachytherapy System.
